TAIWAN trip Day5 - 13.03.2015

Schedule of the day

Hello Kitty Sweet  >  五分铺 Wu Fen Pu  >  饶河街观光夜市 RaoHe Street Night Market

Kicked start our day with instant food from FAMILY MART.It is one of the convenient store in Taiwan. You can make payment by using the Easy Card. We were kinda addicted to those instant food in Taiwan. Been having them like everyday? LoL.

Since it's our 5th day in Taiwan and we didn't bring much cloth it's time to do some laundry!

Didn't bring your own detergent and plastic bag? Rest assure~ You can buy them from the laundry shop.

While waiting for the laundry its our KEPOH time. Other than time we did some changes to our plan since we were a little tired after heading out to so many place in few day time.

So we went to HELLO KITTY SWEETS. You can reach this place by taking MRT alight at 忠孝复兴ZhongXiao FuXing. Out from Exit 3. Then just keep walking for about one minutes until you see Bistro 98. Then turn right and there you are!

We didn't catch the Lunch timing to Hello Kitty Sweets so end up only pastry to be served. We don't mind because the Main Course is a lil pricy for us. :P  If I'm not wrong. I remember that they requires each of us to have minimum spent about NT300? That's why I saw a group of uncle auntie went off from the shop before they got their seat.

Selfie in the toilet is a trend. Can't help ourselves because the toilet is too attracting!

This is how the 2nd floor looks like. You can never fail to find Hello Kitty here. This restaurant is full of hello kitty, pink and white!

Overall : What makes the restaurant become so popular is all because of the theme. Hence, do not expect their pastry to be super tasty. I can't say anything about the food because we never order any but the drinks and service is excellent! :)

Next destination : 五分铺 Wu Fen Pu
Take Mrt alight at 后山碑Hou Shan Pi station. Out from Exit 1 then you can just follow the crowd to WuFenPu

WuFenPu is quite similar to Bugis Street(S'pore), Sungai Wang Plaza and Time Square (M'sia) Those cloth is not as cheap as you imagine but for wholesale item. You can get real cheap. Besides I found that only outdated item can get cheaper price ^^" Most of the shop got price tag so basically no nego.  I think my haunting mood for cloth is not on yet so I only got myself 2 pairs of jeans end of the day.

饒河夜市RaoHe Night Market is just 15minutes walk from WuFenPu. 5 minutes walk from 松山车站SongShan Mrt.  RaoHe Night Market open everyday and the crowd never stop since 5pm to 12am! It's one of the popular night market in Taiwan. The street is about 600m long. We almost stuck in the night market for 2 hours! There's so many things to see! so many food to eat!

Dinner for 3. We bought so many food from RaoHe Night Market and we thought we could finish but end up forcing each other to finish everything! **Ops.. Too greedy. Bought too much. Big nono!** Overall we still thumbs up for the food! Delicious and unique mix and match with food that you never seen in Singapore and Malaysia!

TAIWAN trip Day4 - 12.03.2015

Schedule of the day

薰衣草森林(Lavender Cottage)  >  月眉天马农场(Sky Zoo)

Mmmmm... It was just another beautiful day. The scent of flowers from 薰衣草森林Lavender Cottage made us feels good, calm and peace.  Entry fee NT100 = RM8.90 SGD4.40 (included NT100 voucher) So basically free entry if you bought anything from Lavender Cottage or maybe just grab a seat and enjoy your coffee in the farm.

There were two girls love coffee and herbs, and they drew their story and recorded their feeling into music while travelling. After years working in Taipei and Kaohsiung, they decided to quit their jobs and started being farmers. They tried to grow lavender but bought a hill in nowhere, where there was no cellphone signal and no tourists. It was harsh, but they wanted the aroma and the beauty of purple lavender surrounding a coffee shop in the hill. After years effort, they made their dream came true. These two girls are the hosts of Lavender Cottage.

If you expect to see a great lavender field, like in Provence, you might be disappointed. However, your stress will be gone once you enter this cozy garden. The purple planets and decorate make the trees and grass more green. Taking off your shoes and sitting under a umbrella to have a cup of afternoon tea is joyful. There are a small market selling product made by lavender, such as soap, bath powder, …etc. Also, you can buy a postcard and send to your family, friends or lover for FREE, worldwide! If you wonder what's so special and the story behind Lavender Cottage,  please CLICK ME!  just keep on reading and scrolling. :) Won't be typing much for this post. Let's allow the pictures do the job. :)

I was so surprised to see this! I was like :"What?! This toilet is even nicer and comfortable than my bedroom!!"

Daddy may I have a room like this please? But not the toilet bowl beside my bed. :P

I doubt that you wanna visit Lavender Cottage so bad now. :) I kinda salute the these two girls who brought up Lavender Cottage. I literally can feel how much effort they put on just to make their dream came true! **Let's clap and don't be stingy**  Besides that, those people who lives in the farm is so friendly! They just made me felt so calm and good until I wish to stay in the farm longer! **speical info : you gotta hire a driver to send you to Lavender Cottage as there's no public transport provided.

Next destination: 月眉天马农场 Sky Zoo. Entry Fee NT250 = RM22.10 SGD11
Please do not expect much for Sky Zoo because there's no beautiful building no animal shows no much of animal. But they have got a group of CUTE Fella you wanna play with, which is Alpaca! 草泥马~~~  (· ェ ·)」「(· Y ·)」「(·´ェ`·)(· ェ ·)」「(· Y ·)」「(·´ェ`·)

I wanted to take selfie but suddenly this Mr Alpaca  "POPPED" and photobombed! Ishhh, so naughtyy. :PP

Day well spent with animals and sister's love! Great bonding time with them. How I wish time could slow down. Dear Mr Time, you need a break! :P
