TaoYuan Int Airport桃园国际机场  > XiMen西門町 > Danshui 淡水老街

Took TigerAir from Singapore to TaoYuan Int Airport. Flight time was about 4.30 hrs. After cleared immigration I took Kuo-Kuang Bus no.1819 to TaiPei Main Station台北车站. (ticket for bus about NT120) It took me about 1 hour to reach Taipei main station.

After that I bought an EASYCARD. You can get this from EasyMachine nearby any Station and 7-eleven. (NT500 - basically you already have NT400 in the card) You can use this for MRT, TRX, buses or whenever you buy something from convenient store just scan your card will do.  :)

I went XiMenDing meet up with my sisters and then we went for a late lunch @寿司HIRATA 平田寿司。Not the best sushi I ever had but at least better than some sushi i been try in Malaysia. 

After our sinful late lunch, we suppose to walk around 西门町 but since the night was still young we decided to go  Danshui 淡水老街 for a walk. There's so many goodies selling along the old street. Food, drinks, souvenirs, Naraya bag and birkenstock!

Can you believe that this ice cream is only for NT30? (around RM2.70 and SGD1.30 )OhMyGodness! So cheap! Must eat more! XD  Besides walking along the street we got nothing much to do because the boat to 渔人码头(Tamshui Fisherman's whaft) only open until 10.30pm. And we saw this uncle, Mr busker was drawing a pair of couple. This is kinda old school stuff and we wants our taiwan trip to be memorable so ya!  

After 30 mins of waiting here's the outcome! Although we doesn't like this in real life but I believe that the uncle did his best. It's not easy to draw in a ground temperature of 16 degree celsius. Thank you uncle. Claps for you!  (each person for NT300 = RM26.57 SGD13.20)

Time to leave DanShui as the MRT service ending soon. We were back to XiMen西门町 by then we started to feel a little of hunger so why not we try out 阿忠面线 since it is really popular!

YUMMY! Hot and spicy! Best 面线 I ever had! The price to kinda cheao too. NT 50 for medium and NT65 for large.  Bubble milk tea is my favourite too! So I grabbed one and back to our hostel to enjoy our first night in TAIWAN! Bubble milk tea is selling at a cheap price too! for NT40 =RM3.50 SGD1.80!

For your information. We were staying at 西宁南169 Hostel. Personally think that the hostel is located in a good place which allows you to find 7-eleven and many other shop to fix your hunger middle of the night. Oh ya! The MRT is nearby the hostel too. Like less than 5 minutes walk?
